Next week Karen is headed off to New York City for our Spring 2015 buying trip! When it comes to running around the city for a week, living out of a suitcase is hard! She put together a few essentials that she's packing for New York, sticking with black as her neutral so every piece she brings can mix and match!

Nothing is easier then putting on a single piece with a little bootie and you're set from day to night! Not to mention a one piece outfit helps beating that pesky weight restriction on airplanes!
8: Raquel Allegra Sleeveless Cocktail Dress in Fiesta Tie-Dye $234 Another one piece wonder, this dress is perfect with her army green Isabel Marant 'Kady' jacket and not to mention comfortable! Doubled from the waist down she can hop in and out of taxis without having to worry about this jersey dress stretching out!
